Information for Transportation Providers
Transportation Providers first need to verify customers through the MEDI site to find out the eligibility status of the customer and whether the customer is enrolled with an MCO.
Customers can either be enrolled as a Medicaid fee-for-service customer or enrolled in a Managed Care Organization (MCO).
Transportation Providers should use www.netspap.com or reach out to Transdev at 866-503-9040 for all questions regarding customers that are Medicaid fee for service, and not in a managed care plan.
Transportation Providers can use the MCO Subcontractor List for all MCO questions.
HFS recognizes the importance of an outlet for reporting issues providers may be having with an Illinois Medicaid Managed Care Health Plan (MCO). All providers are required to first follow the MCOs dispute process found in each MCO’s provider manual. Only after following the MCO’s dispute process to completion, should providers submit unresolved disputes with an MCO to HFS via the secure, web-based Provider Resolution portal at Managed Care Provider Resolution Portal.
