Changes Coming to Illinois Medicaid

Starting in January 2027, new federal rules may affect some Illinois Medicaid customers, with certain adults required to work, attend school, participate in training, or engage in community service to get or keep coverage. Most individuals will not be affected, and Illinois Medicaid will contact you if any action is needed, as those who do not meet requirements could lose coverage.
