Illinois Child Support
Important changes are coming to Illinois Child Support Services
In October 2026, we will start using a new case management system. This new system will make it easier for you to use the online portal, see updates right away, keep your information safe, and send documents or get messages about your case.
During early October, payment dates will be delayed for a short time while we switch to the new system. Please review the schedule below for when payments will be sent beginning October 1 and going forward.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO
1. Make sure your email address is up to date: You will need a valid email address to use the new portal, get messages, and log into Okta, our new secure multi-factor authentication (MFA) process.
2. Prepare for the new login process: If you already use Okta for other Illinois programs (such as the ABE benefits site), you do not need to do anything. If you do not, you may need to download the Okta Verify app and create an account. We will send simple instructions as we get closer to the start date.
The current online portal will stay open but will not show new case information after September 30, 2026. The new e-services portal should be ready on October 7, 2026.
