We are improving how we serve Illinois families. 
A new, easier to use child support system is coming soon (anticipated October 2026). 

Please make sure we have your current email address on file. 
You will need a valid email to access the new child support system, receive messages, and log in securely through Okta. Keeping your email up to date will help ensure you get important updates about your case as soon as they are available. What to expect from the new system: 
• Easier to use. The website will be simpler, so you can find what you need faster. 
• A better online portal. You can see updates right away, follow what’s happening on your case, and get information without having to call. 
• Online forms and documents. You can fill out, download, and upload many child support forms on the website. 
• Stronger security. Your information will be safer. You will use Okta, a twostep login, to protect your account.

How you can prepare for this change: 
To access the new system, you will need an Okta account for secure twoparty authentication. 

• If you already use Okta for other Illinois government partners - such as the ABE portal for state benefit assistance - you are all set.  
• If you do not have an Okta account, you may need to download the Okta Verify app and create an account. We will provide step by step instructions as we get closer to launch.

Our goal is to provide families with a smoother, more reliable, and more transparent experience. As we transition, you may notice changes to the look and functionality of our website. We appreciate your patience and look forward to introducing tools that make it easier to manage your child support case.
