The CCBHC Advisory Committee includes members representing customers, family members, providers, managed care organizations, state agencies, and other key stakeholders.  The purpose of the CCBHC Advisory Committee is to provide input on the development and implementation of Illinois’ CCBHC program.

Learning Collaborative

Agencies that were not selected to move forward with certification will be able to participate in the statewide CCBHC Learning Collaborative starting in June 2024. The purpose of the CCBHC Learning Collaborative will be to enhance each agency’s ability to meet federal and state CCBHC requirements and possibly participate in the CCBHC Demonstration in upcoming years.  The CCBHC Learning Collaborative will be led by the Illinois’ Chief Behavioral Health Officer. Potential CCBHCs will receive training and support in areas including, but not limited to:

  • Developing a CCBHC Organizational Structure
  • Developing a CCBHC Governance Structure
  • Completing a Community Needs Assessment
  • Developing policies and procedures, staffing and training plans to support the implementation of all required CCBHC services
  • Creating communication and engagement plans that ensure continuous and actionable feedback from clients, family members, community members with lived experience, and partnering organizations
  • Developing and implementing a data-based Quality Improvement Plan
  • Proper collection and reporting of required CCBHC Quality Measures
  • Proper completion of cost reports and other fiscal reporting required to develop a CCBHC PPS rate
