Vaccine For Children (VFC)

Children covered under the department's Medical Assistance and All Kids Program receive childhood vaccines made available to their providers by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) or Vaccine For Children (VFC) Program in Chicago. The department reimburses providers for the administration of those vaccines.

  • For general information about the VFC Program, becoming enrolled in the program or ordering vaccines covered under the VFC Program, contact 1-800-526-4372. Providers in Chicago should contact the Chicago VFC Program at 312-746-5940.
