Important Information for Medicaid Customers: Federal Changes Starting January 2027
Starting in January 2027, new federal changes may affect some Medicaid customers. Many people will not be affected. If you need to act, the State of Illinois will contact you first.
Medicaid Customers
What you can do now: Make sure your contact information is up to date. If you receive mail from the State of Illinois, open it right away. It may contain important information about your Medicaid coverage. Visit ABE.Illinois.gov and select “Manage My Case” to update your address, phone number and email address. You can also view notices, check your coverage and manage other case information in one place.
