Medicaid Management Intern

Medicaid Management Intern - Requires a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, health and human services, social welfare, sociology, business or public administration with course work in healthcare organization, health care systems finance, healthcare economics, predictive modeling, health policy, healthcare operations assessment and improvement, quality control and strategy formulation and implementation of healthcare policies.  Requires experience with the application of public administration tenets, such as might have been obtained in collegiate organizations, volunteer participation or by employment.

Medicaid Management Analyst

Medicaid Management Analyst - Requires a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, health and human services, social welfare, sociology, business or public administration with course work in healthcare organization, health care systems finance, healthcare economics, predictive modeling, health policy, healthcare operations assessment and improvement, quality control and strategy formulation and implementation of healthcare policies.  Requires completion of a minimum of twelve months of the Medicaid Management Intern training program.

Office Coordinator Option 1 & 2 

Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to two years of secretarial/business college; or completion of high school and two years of related office experience; or two years of independent business experience. (Option 2 Only: Requires the ability to keyboard accurately at 30 words per minute.) 

Office Specialist Option 1 & 2 

Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to two years of secretarial/business college and one year of office experience or completion of high school and three years of office experience or three years of independent business experience. (Option 2 Only: Requires the ability to keyboard accurately at 30 words per minute.) 

Social Services Career Trainee

Requires a bachelor's degree in anthropology, psychology, sociology, social welfare, or equivalent education attainment in a related field of social sciences. 

Child Support Specialist & Child Support Specialist Trainee

Requires education and experience equivalent to four years of college with coursework in psychology, sociology, social welfare, business administration, or finance; or equivalent educational attainment in a related field; or, education and experience equivalent to two years of college with a minimum of eight semester hours in finance and four years' experience in the Child Support Services program area; or eight years of experience performing paraprofessional functions in the Child Support Services program area. 

Health Facilities Surveillance Nurse

Requires (a) graduation from an approved nursing education program resulting in an Associate or a Diploma Degree in Nursing and three years of professional nursing experience or, (b) a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and two years of professional nursing experience or, (c) a Master's Degree in Nursing. Requires licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois. Requires licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois. 

Human Services Caseworker

Human Services Caseworker - Requires a bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology/anthropology, social welfare or a closely-related field.  Requires one year of professional casework or crisis intervention experience in a social service agency, or successful completion of an agency-sponsored training program.  Qualifying state employees in the Upward Mobility Program shall have the stated requirements of this classification waived by successful completion of a qualifying examination.

Medical Assistance Consultant I & II

Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college, with courses in medical social work. Requires two years of professional experience in fields related to medical social work. 

Management Operations Analyst I & II

Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college, supplemented by a master's degree in business or public administration, with coursework in areas such as economic theory, accounting and finance, organizational theory, and operations research.  Requires three years progressively responsible professional experience in management operations analysis.  

Public Service Administrator - Option 8N (Nurse)

PSA option(8N) Requires licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.  Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to the completion of four (4) years of college with coursework in nursing.  Requires prior experience equivalent to three (3) years of progressively responsible professional nursing experience in a public or business organization. 

Public Service Administrator - Option 8L (Attorney)

PSA (8L) – Requires the possession of a license to practice law in Illinois.  Requires graduation from a recognized law school.  Requires prior experience equivalent to three (3) years of progressively responsible legal experience in a public or private organization.

Public Service Administrator - Option 8C (Certified Public Accountant)

PSA (8C) – Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to the completion of four years of college with course work in business administration or accounting.  Requires prior experience equivalent to four years of progressively responsible administrative experience in business administration, public or private accounting or a financial field.  Requires certification as a Certified Public Accountant.

Accountant

Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college, with courses in business administration and accounting or four years of technical accounting experience.

Accountant Advanced

Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college, with course in business administration and accounting; requires two years of professional experience in accounting, external auditing, budgetary planning and control or public accounting.
