Illinois Child Support Estimator

The Illinois Child Support Estimator is designed to provide a general idea of a child support amount based on the Illinois child support guidelines (750 ILCS 5/505) and the information entered regarding specific circumstances.  This estimator is for informational purposes only.  The Department of Healthcare and Family Services-Division of Child Support Services assumes no responsibility for the accuracy of the child support amount determined based upon the usage of this estimator.

The child support amount that you determine may not be the same amount that the Department or the court may establish.

This amount is meant to be an estimate and is not a guarantee of the amount of child support awarded.

Many factors affect the amount of child support and each situation is different.

The child support amount may be higher or lower depending on the income figures you use in this estimator.
