E-Pay

HBWD is now offering online payments by using the Illinois E-Pay system offered by the Illinois State Treasurer's Office. E-Pay is a self-service electronic payment program allowing payments to be made on the user's timetable without leaving their home. E-Pay is designed for local governments and state agencies to offer users of its services easier, faster payment choices. The Illinois E-Pay system accepts Visa, MasterCard, and E-Checks. The payor will not incur any additional charge for making payments on the site.

Monthly premiums are based on the applicant’s monthly income. Premiums are due on the 20th of each month. Monthly statements are mailed to participants near the first of each month.

Please use the link above and have the following information available.

  1. Customer No. (required) – The Customer No. is a 10-character number that generally starts with an "8". The Customer No. is located on the upper right-hand side of the remittance statement. (Ex 8000123456)
  2. Contract Object No. (required) – The Contract Object No. is a 13-character number that generally starts with a "2". The Contract Object No. is located on the upper right-hand side of the remittance statement. (Ex 2500123456789)
  3. Payor name, if different than client
  4. Telephone number of the payor
  5. E-mail address of payor (optional)
