This notice is to remind all Long Term Care (LTC) providers that the State of Illinois is introducing a new way for Application for Benefits Eligibility (ABE) users to log into their accounts. This applies to LTC providers that assist residents with the submission of an application for medical benefits through the Apply for Benefits as an Application Agent portal and to LTC providers that utilize the ABE Provider Portal to upload documentation to the Medicaid customer’s ABE case record.
If the LTC provider currently has separate login accounts created for each of these portals, the new ILPartner login system will merge the accounts. The LTC provider will use the same login account for submitting applications as well as uploading documentation to the ABE case record.
In preparation for the migration of Provider accounts, an updated record of a designated Primary Agency Security Administrator (PASA) and a backup Agency Security Administrator (ASA) for all Providers that access the ABE Portal(s) is needed. This is a requirement for your organization to continue using the ABE Portal(s). Please complete the PASA form for each location that will have their own PASA/ASA. The Department requests that this be completed no later than March 15, 2024. The projected Go Live for this new process is Summer 2024. Users will receive an email with instructions on how to complete registration on their IL Partner account.
