Re:      Spectacle Fabrication Resuming at Dixon Correctional Facility

 

 

 

 

This notice informs providers that on May 18, 2020, Dixon Correctional Facility lifted their administrative lockdown for spectacle fabrication and has resumed operations. This information applies to eyeglass orders for participants covered under the Department’s fee-for-service program and does not apply to orders for participants covered under HealthChoice Illinois managed care plans and the Medicare/Medicaid Alignment Initiative (MMAI) plans.

 

By informational notice dated April 8, 2020, the Department informed providers of delays at Dixon Correctional Facility, where Medicaid participants’ eyeglasses are fabricated. Dixon Correctional Facility had begun an administrative lockdown due to the COVID-19 emergency on March 27, 2020.
