Requirement for Long Term Care Providers to Submit Monthly Billing for Reimbursement Purposes – Delayed Implementation

​To: ​Long Term Care Facilities - Nursing Facilities (NF), Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID), Supportive Living Program (SLP), Nursing Facilities eligible to be licensed Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facilities (SMHRF) and State-Operated Facilities

This notice informs Long Term Care providers of a delay in the implementation of the Long Term Care Direct Billing requirement. Implementation will begin with service dates on and after October 1, 2016.

 

All current system processing will remain in place until the new system is operational.

 

The Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) encourages providers to continue to visit the Long Term Care Services and Supports (LTSS) Long Term Care Direct Billing webpage for informational material and updates.
