IMPACT Provider Enrollment – Educational Sessions for Providers
Pre-registration is required and space is limited. Please click on the links below to register in advance. Parking is limited at all sites so ride sharing is encouraged.

Illinois Hospital Association, Naperville - 50 people
IL Department of Transporation, Springfield - 100 people
James R Thompson Center, Chicago - 300 people
State Library, Springfield - 150 people
Metro-East Forensic Lab, Belleville - 60 people
Please note: These IMPACT Educational Sessions for Providers are geared towards specific audiences. The information is tailored for particular types of providers, as different types of providers will complete different enrollment processes. Please read the description below each session and determine which session you should register for.
More educational sessions will be scheduled – additional information will be posted on this site in the coming days. Please check back periodically as additional dates and locations are announced. We encourage ride sharing.
July 2015 Schedule
8:30 AM -11:00 AM-Facilities, Agencies and Organizations (FAOs) & Individual Rendering/ Servicing Providers
This session will demonstrate to FAOs how to enroll or revalidate using the IMPACT Provider Enrollment system. Examples of an FAO include Hospitals, Nursing Facilities, Laboratories, etc., and has a Type 2 NPI (National Provider Identifier) number associated to them. Licensing is required for this type of entity. This session will also include a demonstration on how to enroll as a Rendering/Servicing provider. A rendering/servicing provider is an individual provider who will be rendering services to Medicaid clients but will not be submitting claims directly to the state for reimbursement but rather working for an FAO.

12:00 PM-2:30 PM-Groups & Individual Rendering/ Servicing Providers
This session demonstrate to Groups how to enroll or revalidate using the IMPACT Provider Enrollment system. A group is defined as an organization of individual providers that provides medical or dental services. A Group provider will require a Type 2 NPI. No licensing is required for this type of organization. This session will also include a demonstration on how to enroll as a Rendering/Servicing provider. A rendering/servicing provider is an individual provider who will be rendering services to Medicaid clients but will not be submitting claims directly to the state for reimbursement but rather working for a Group.

This session will demonstrate to Individual/Sole Proprietors how to enroll or revalidate using the IMPACT Provider Enrollment system. An Individual/Sole Proprietor is defined a provider that owns his/her own practice. A Sole Proprietor may receive payments directly or associate to Billing Proprietors and/or Billing Agents.
