Re:
Application for Benefits Eligibility (ABE) WebEx Training on July 10, 2024

This notice is to inform all Long Term Care (LTC) providers that the Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) is offering a WebEx training for Application for Benefits Eligibility (ABE) users on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 2:00 PM CST.

Join the training here.

This training will review the new multi-factor authentication (MFA) and login changes that will be coming to the ABE Portal for customers and providers. The expected date of implementation of this change is July 26, 2024.

This training will also review the process to become an HFS Application Agent, which would add functionality for organizations in the ABE Provider Portal. This functionality allows users from organizations to submit full applications for benefits through their Provider Portal account. This is optional and not required for LTC organizations.

The training will be recorded and available through the HFS Long Term Services and Supports webpage.
