Autism Work Group

The house resolution 818 requires the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services to examine and make recommendations to expand the Medicaid enrolled providers who serve and support individuals with Autism. The resolution requires specific work group representatives including state agencies, parent advocates, provider groups such as primary care and behavioral health, and non-profit entities that work with individuals with disabilities. The work group is required to submit progress reports, a final report, and a strategic plan in the coming 18 months.
