To:        Participating Physicians, Advanced Practice Nurses and Community Mental Health Centers

 

Re:       Psychiatric Services Provided Within Community Mental Health Centers (CMHCs) Extended Through June 30, 2019

 

 

 

 

This notice informs participating CMHCs, as well as physicians and Advanced Practice Nurses (APN) partnering with participating CMHCs of an update in reimbursement rates.  The Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) is extending the enhanced payment for certain fee-for-service psychiatric services through June 30, 2019. CMHC services qualifying for the enhanced payment are identified in the Community Mental Health Services Fee Schedule posted on the HFS website. 

 

In order to receive the enhanced payments, physicians and APNs must continue to follow the billing instructions issued in the October 19, 2016, Provider Notice.
