Seminar on Application for Benefits Eligibility (ABE) for LTC Providers

 We remind all LTC facilities that effective November 1, 2014, all applications for eligibility for LTC care services filed by facilities must be filed electronically using the Illinois Application for Benefits Eligibility (ABE).  As previously announced, the Illinois Departments of Human Services and Healthcare and Family Services are offering a seminar to introduce facilities to ABE and answer other questions on LTC eligibility. The seminar will be offered six times at three different locations around the State at 9 a.m. and again at 1 p.m. in each location. They are: 

 

 

  • September 16 at the Holiday Inn in Skokie (5300 W. Touhy Avenue, Skokie, 60077) – 1 p.m. Session ONLY

  • September 17 at Bobak’s Signature Events at Seven Bridges in Woodridge (6440 Double Eagle Drive, Woodridge, 60517)

  • September 23 at Illinois State Museum in Springfield (502 S. Spring St., Springfield, 62706)

Important: Please note that pre-registration is required to attend these seminars. Each is limited to 100 participants. There is ample seating at all but the 9 a.m. session in Skokie, which is closed-out. Pre-registration deadline is end of day this Friday (September 12, 2014).
