To:     Intermediate Care Facilities Licensed Under the ID/DD Community Care Act and Community-Based Organizations Serving Individuals with Developmental Disabilities

 

          Re:     Wage Rate Increase Effective August 1, 2017 for Specified Personnel Serving Individuals with Developmental Disabilities in Institutional and Community-Based Settings

 

  This notice informs providers that Public Act 100-0023 provides for provider rate increases to fund a minimum of a $0.75 per hour wage increase for specified personnel serving individuals with developmental disabilities, effective August 1, 2017.

Community based organizations serving individuals with developmental disabilities shall receive rate increases to fund a $0.75 per hour wage increase for front-line personnel, including, but not limited to, direct support persons, aides, front-line supervisors, qualified intellectual disabilities professionals, nurses, and non-administrative support staff.

 

Facilities licensed by the Department of Public Health under the ID/DD Community Care Act (210 ILCS 47/) as ID/DD facilities shall receive rate increases to fund a $0.75 per hour wage increase for non-executive staff.
