Re: Supportive Living Handbook (SLF) Update - Rules Revision
The updated pages to the Supportive Living Facility handbook reflect recent revisions to 89 IL Adm. Code Section 146. 200 through 290 and reporting requirements.
Revisions to handbook pages include discussion of the report sent weekly to each SLF detailing the actions a caseworker has taken regarding its residents and the two types of automated adjustments that are made to calculate payment. These do not reflect new policy or procedures and are provided only for clarification. The current version of forms in the handbook’s appendix are also provided.
The requirement for Form DPA 2448, Physician Certification, for Medicaid residents has been deleted from the handbook but will continue to be required until systems changes allow admissions to be done without the form. Continue to complete and submit the form to the local Department of Human Services office until the Department notifies SLFs that the programming has been completed.
