The Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS), in partnership with the Department of Human Services’ Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery (DHS-DBHR), is hosting an upcoming webinar to discuss changes to Medicaid-reimbursed Mobile Crisis Response (MCR) services that will take effect in Fiscal Year 2027. Specifically, the webinar will discuss the state’s transition to a Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) framework.

The webinar will cover:

  • Efforts made to date to establish an Illinois Unified Crisis Continuum;

  • An overview of MRSS;

  • Details on service delivery, organization, staffing, and claims requirements; 

  • Highlights of key differences between MCR and MRSS; and

  • Anticipated implementation supports for providers.

Informational Webinar

The MRSS informational webinar will focus on information most relevant to existing mobile crisis response providers; however, participation is open to anyone who would like to attend. The webinar date and time, as well as registration instructions are below.
