 Critical Access Hospital Obstetric and Other Treatment Services Supplemental Payment - Calendar Year 2025

In accordance with Public Act 103-0102, the Department has posted the methodology and resulting payments for the first two quarters of Calendar Year 2025 Critical Access Hospital OB and Other Treatment Services Supplemental Payment Program. The program provides $10 million annually for non-publicly owned critical access hospitals and $3.5 million annually for publicly owned critical access hospitals for delivery of perinatal and obstetrician/gynecologist (OB/GYN) services, behavioral healthcare including substance use disorder services, other specialty services, and telehealth services. These payments will be processed soon and paid to the hospitals through the HealthChoice Illinois managed care plans as detailed in the posted calculations.
