 Calendar Year Safety Net Obstetrical Payment Program 

In accordance with Public Act 102-0004, the Department has posted the calculations and resulting payments for the first two quarters (January 1 – June 30, 2025) of the Safety Net Obstetrical Supplemental Payment Program. The program provides $50 million annually to be disbursed quarterly among safety-net hospitals that maintain perinatal designation from the Department of Public Health. The funding shall be used to preserve or enhance obstetrician/gynecologist (OB/GYN) services or other specialty services at the receiving hospital.
