 Integrated Assessment and Treatment Planning (IATP): Child and Family Team Billing Guidance (G9007)

This notice informs providers of resolution to a system issue resulting in claims for IATP: Child and Family Team <=90 minutes (G9007) being denied when claims were submitted without a modifier (A59 error code). System updates have been implemented to address this issue and providers may now resubmit affected claims. This system issue affected fee-for service (FFS) claims only and did not affect claims submitted to the HealthChoice Illinois Managed Care Plans.

IATP: Child and Family Team services with a date of service from December 1, 2022, through February 10, 2025, should be resubmitted. Providers needing a request for a timely filing override may submit claims electronically with the HFS 1624 Override Request Form as an electronic attachment.

Providers may direct questions to a community mental health center billing consultant in the Bureau of Professional and Ancillary Services at 877-782-5565, option sequence 1, 2, 4, then 8.
