 Long Term Acute Care Hospital 4th Quarter Additional Directed Payment

The Department of Healthcare and Family Services has posted an additional directed payment for Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospitals in accordance with Public Act 103-0102. Calendar year 2024 directed payment rates for LTAC hospitals had been reduced per federal limitations. Due to changes in federal regulation, the Department is able to pay the LTAC hospitals at the full calendar year 2024 rate. The payment calculations have been posted to the Department’s Directed Payment webpage and payment is in process. The calculations can be viewed at the following link:
