 Calendar Year 2023 Provider-Level Blood Lead Report

In accordance with Public Act 098-0690, the Department of Healthcare and Family Services has published the CY2023 Provider-Level Blood Lead Report.

This report documents the frequency of lead testing and elevated blood lead levels among children receiving benefits through the Department of Healthcare and Family Services.

There has been one change to the report specifications. The elevated blood lead level is now ≥ 5 µg/dL (down from ≥10 µg/dL used in previous reports).

Please note that there are an estimated 2,000 missing results in the CY2023 Provider Blood Lead Screening Report due to a delay in receiving all of the results data from the lab. The report will be updated as soon as results are available.
