 New EAPG added to Outpatient Expensive Drug and Device Add-on Calculation

It has come to the Department’s attention that the new EAPG grouper version 3.18, effective August 1, 2023, included the addition of a new EAPG 466: Class XIV Combined Chemotherapy and Pharmacotherapy.  After evaluation, the Department is including that EAPG to the list of EAPGs that qualify for the High-Cost Device Add-On payment.  This update will be effective back to dates of service on or after August 1, 2023.  The Department will adjust any previously paid claims that are impacted by this update accordingly. 

A revised August 1, 2023, EAPG calculator including this change has been posted to the Pricing Calculators web page.
