​Re: Extended Hotline Hours

This notice informs providers that State pharmacy hotlines will offer extended weekend hours during the ongoing system outage following the Change Healthcare nationwide cyber security breach. Change Healthcare is the current Pharmacy Benefits Management vendor for fee-for-service FFS) Medicaid customers.

The Prior Approval and Refill too Soon Hotline 800-252-8942 will be taking calls from 8:30 AM to 5 PM on both Saturday and Sunday to assist with eligibility verification, and to reiterate our emergency services protocol.

The Pharmacy Billing Consultant Hotline 877-782-5565 Option 7 will be available from 8:30 AM to 5 PM on both Saturday and Sunday to assist with eligibility verification, reiterate our emergency services protocol and answer any billing questions you may have related to this system outage.

Providers should monitor provider notices daily for information regarding resolution of the system outage and resumption of prior authorization requirements. Providers are strongly encouraged to subscribe to email notification of provider notices if they have not already done so.
