​Re: Hospital Rate Changes Effective January 1, 2024

The Calendar Year 2024 hospital fee-for-service (FFS) supplemental payments have been posted to the Hospital Reimbursement Notification page of the HFS website at the following link under the section titled, “Supplemental Payment Programs”:

In addition, while the January 1, 2024, hospital rate sheets reflecting the legislated 10% increase in rates have been posted to the Hospital Reimbursement Notification webpage, FFS claims are currently being held pending federal approval of the State Plan Amendment. Claims will be released for payment upon federal approval. Payment from HealthChoice Illinois managed care plans will reflect the increased rates prior to federal approval.
