This bulletin adds Topic 112.10, Claim Procedures for County Jail Inmates, to the Chapter 100 Handbook. It clarifies for providers the steps involved in obtaining payment from a county jail and the Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) for county jail inmates' medical care. It also details the information required for HFS to price and reimburse those claims.
