Re: Upcoming Webinars Covering Community-Based Behavioral Services Compliance

This notice informs providers of upcoming educational webinars hosted by the Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS). The webinars will provide information on Medicaid community-based behavioral health policy and requirements for compliance with 89 Ill. Admin. Code 140 and the Community-based Behavioral Services (CBS) Provider Handbook, with an emphasis on medical necessity criteria and documentation expectations as outlined in the Community-based Behavioral Health Services Frequently Asked Questions. Attendees will also have an opportunity to ask HFS staff questions regarding CBS compliance.
The webinars are free and open to the public but require advance registration. Links to register for the webinars are available below.
