Re:      Publicly Owned Transportation Providers – Ground Emergency MedicalTransportation (GEMT) Supplemental Payments       

 

 

This notice informs providers enrolled in the GroundEmergency Medical Transportation (GEMT) program that amounts due for the secondpayment are currently available in JetPay and are due by April 30, 2021.

 

The first payment was due October 31, 2020. If the firstpayment has not yet been made, JetPay will have that information as well. Pastdue payments should be made immediately.

 

JetPay and checks are the only methods of payment. Thelink to the JetPay website for making payments is:

Local Governments that want to pay by check should emailHFS at HFS.GEMT@illinois.gov to verify their amount due. To pay by check, send checksto:

How the Amount Due is Calculated:

This amount is based on enhanced payments for claimsadjudicated during the second and third quarters of 2020 in the Fee-for-Servicesystem with dates of service back to the provider’s effective date in the GEMTprogram. The amount due is 50% of amounts received above prior baserates.
