TheDepartments of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) and Human Services (DHS)continue to review operational procedures and identify ways to improveefficiency. This Notice informs Long Term Care (LTC) providers that effective February1, 2021, the Medical Field Operations (MFO) – Central #244 office caseworkers willbe moving from “task-based” to “facility-based” assignments. This change isintended to increase productivity and more evenly distribute workflow. Workflow for the MFO Central #244 office willbe based upon the DHS Region of the county in which the facility is located.
Thischange applies to LTC providers located in the following counties - only:
