On July 1, 2020, providers may begin to Direct Data Entry (DDE) into the IM+CANS Portal. Providers choosing to utilize the batch upload process should begin their system configuration development now. To accommodate the time needed to develop and test the batch upload process, providers have until October 1, 2020 to complete the system configuration and begin uploading to the IM+CANS Portal. Providers will need to upload data to the Portal dating back to July 1, 2020 once their batch upload process is in place.

Questions regarding this notice, the IM+CANS instrument or the IM+CANS Portal may be directed to the Bureau of Behavioral Health via telephone at 217-557-1000 or email at HFS.BBH@illinois.gov.
