Re:       Handbook for Practitioners Rendering Medical Services Re-issue

 

 

The Department is reissuing the Handbook for Practitioners Rendering Medical Services. No appendix document is included with this reissue. The Department previously issued the Provider Handbook Supplement that will replace Provider Handbook appendix documents from 21 different Provider Handbooks, eliminating much duplication. As the Provider Handbooks are re-issued the individual appendices will be eliminated and providers will be directed to the Handbook Supplement.

 

Providers are encouraged to review the handbook in its entirety. This handbook, in conjunction with the Handbook for Providers of Medical Services, General Policy and Procedures, provides information necessary for providers to receive payment from the Department.
