Re:     Rate Increase for Ambulance Providers

This notice informs providers that Pursuant to Public Act 100-0587 and effective with dates of service on and after July 1, 2018, Non-Emergency and Emergency Ambulance providers will receive an increase of 12% above current base and mileage rates.

 

These rate changes apply to fee-for-service reimbursement. Providers should contact the individual HealthChoice Illinois Managed Care plans for reimbursement and billing information regarding enrollees.

 

A revised fee schedule can be found on the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services website
