Re:   Vaccines for Children (VFC) program - Private Stock Vaccines (Title XXI) Funding Extended Through June 30, 2018 for Title XXI and State-funded Enrollees

This notice is to inform providers that the Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) is extending the $6.40 additional reimbursement for private stock vaccines administered to Title 21 (XXI) and State-funded eligible children through the end of the current State fiscal year ending June 30, 2018. To receive the $6.40 reimbursement, providers must continue to follow the billing instructions issued in the January 17, 2017 Provider Notice.

Billing procedures for Federally Qualified Health Centers, Rural Health Centers, and Encounter Rate Clinics will remain the same as communicated in the September 19, 2016 Provider Notice.

Providers should contact individual Medicaid Managed Care Organizations for reimbursement and billing information regarding their enrollees.
