Due Date for Payment of the Quarterly Licensed Bed Assessment​

The Quarterly Licensed Bed Assessment due date for long term care providers for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2017 is June 12, 2017.

Monthly Occupied Bed Provider Assessment

The Illinois Comptroller’s Office has issued warrants for October 2016 long term care services.  The following assessment payment will be due June 15, 2017. 

The Monthly Occupied Bed Provider Assessment for long term care providers for the January 2017 assessment period/October 2016 reporting period originally due March 15, 2017, and extended to June 15, 2017. 

Extension in Due Date for Payment of the Monthly Occupied Bed Provider Assessment

The Monthly Occupied Bed Provider Assessment due date for long term care providers for the February 2017 assessment period/November 2016 reporting period, originally due April 17, 2017, has been extended to July 17, 2017.

The Monthly Occupied Bed Provider Assessment due date for long term care providers for the March 2017 assessment period/December 2016 reporting period, originally due May 15, 2017, has been extended to July 17, 2017.

The Monthly Occupied Bed Provider Assessment due date for long term care providers for the April 2017 assessment period/January 2017 reporting period, originally due June 15, 2017, has been extended to July 17, 2017.

The Department continues to monitor long term care pending claims at the Comptroller’s Office for November - December 2016 dates of service, and will update assessment due dates once payments are issued.  Providers will be notified of future assessment extensions and/or revised due dates via the website, and are encouraged to sign up for e-mail notifications at the link below.
