Pharmacy Benefits Management System (PBMS) Registration for Pharmacy Pilot Testing ​

Re:      Pharmacy Benefits Management System (PBMS) Registration for Pharmacy Pilot Testing

 

 

 

This notice includes registration information for pharmacies to participate in pilot testing of the Department’s new Point of Sale (POS) Pharmacy Benefits Management System (PBMS). In preparation for implementation of the PBMS please review the following.

 

·       The updated payor sheet can be found on the Department’s Payor Sheet webpage.

·       Test cases will be available from Change Healthcare (CH) beginning on February 15, 2017, and will include test participant data as well as distinct test scenarios for pilot testing.

·       Pharmacies will test using their actual National Provider Identifier (NPI).

·       CH will supply a test (BIN) for pharmacies to use during pilot testing. Additional information regarding pilot testing will be available on the Department’s website and pharmacies are encouraged to check back often for updates.

·       Once pharmacies are registered to participate, CH will contact them directly with specifics regarding the pilot testing process.

 

In order to participate in pilot testing, pharmacies will need to provide the information listed below to CH on or before February17, 2017, via email at PBA_POSTechSupport@changehealthcare.com or via fax at 877-853-8533.
