The Illinois Medicaid Electronic Health Records (EHR) Incentive Program’s Eligible Professional (EP) attestation deadline for the 2015 program year expired on May 31, 2016. Although the deadline has passed there are still over 600 attestations which were rejected during the adjudication process. These attestations in rejection status may still be submitted for approval for the 2015 program year through August 31, 2016. Any attestation remaining in rejection status on September 1, 2016 will be rolled over into the 2016 program year (the 2015 program year will effectively be skipped). Failure to meet “meaningful use” requirements for the 2015 program year may result in Medicare payment adjustments in 2017.
Please review any incomplete attestations for the 2015 program year and resubmit them at your earliest convenience.
