The Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) will offer a series of webinars through GoToWebinar relating to the new monthly billing process for long term care services which will be implemented July 1, 2016.  It is recommended that you test your computer settings to make sure you will not encounter any problems with the transmission on the day of the webinar.

 

The first in the series of webinars is scheduled for April 27, 2016. This webinar will provide an overview of the changes and requirements relevant to long term care services. It is recommended that you review the Informational Notice dated 04/19/16  for additional guidance and to prepare for this webinar. Registration is not required. Due to limited phone line capacity, facilities with more than one participant should view as a group utilizing one phone line with speaker capability, if possible.

     9:00 – 11:00    Nursing Facilities and

     Nursing Facilities eligible to be licensed as SMHRFs

Providers are encouraged to send questions in advance to HFS.LTC@illinois.gov using the Subject title “Monthly Billing Webinar”.  Questions will be answered during the webinar as time permits. All questions and answers will be available in a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) on the HFS Medical Providers LTSS Home Page. HFS will continue to provide ongoing provider support by posting training schedules, webinars and other helpful information on the LTSS Home Page.
