2015 Safety Net Hospital Determination

 In accordance with Public Act 097-0689 (pdf), the department has conducted the annual determination of safety net hospital status effective for October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015. Per the requirements, an Illinois hospital must be Disproportionate Share (DSH) eligible and have a Medicaid Inpatient Utilization Rate (MIUR) of at least 50% or an MIUR of at least 40% and a charity percentage above 4%. The following hospitals have met those standards:
