Concurrent Review - Transition to All-Web Review Effective July 1, 2014

The department, in conjunction with its Quality Improvement Organization (QIO), eQHealth Solutions, Inc., announces that effective with admissions on and after July 1, 2014, eQHealth will transition to 100% web-based concurrent review.

eQHealth historically has offered telephone review capabilities, as well as its web-based review system, for hospitals mandated to obtain concurrent review. By transitioning all review to its web-based system, eQSuite™, eQHealth anticipates a more efficient and secure structure for its concurrent review process.

During the months of May and June, eQHealth will assist hospitals with the transition by providing various training and education opportunities. More specific information is available on the eQHealth Solutions, Inc. website.
