This notice advises local education agencies (LEA’s) that effective January 1, 2013, CPT code 90810- individual psychological service, became obsolete. Beginning with dates of service on or after, January 1, 2013 LEA’s should bill using CPT code 90832 for the individual psychological service.

Providers should continue to use the “AH” modifier when submitting claims for psychological services. If providers have received rejections for services when billing 90810, on or after January 1, 2013, the services should be re-billed using CPT code 90832.
