Enrollment of LTC Residents into the Integrated Care Program (ICP)

The Department of Healthcare and Family Services has additional information regarding residents eligible for the Integrated Care Program who live in Long Term Care (LTC) facilities. The ICP operates in suburban Cook (excluding zip codes that begin with 606), DuPage, Kane, Kankakee, Lake and Will Counties.
A May 13, 2011, Provider Notice was sent to LTC facilities regarding the ICP that included a list of frequently asked questions. This prior notice may found at:

Effective September 14, 2011, all LTC residents eligible for ICP who have not already enrolled will be sent enrollment packets through the mail.
Residents are able to choose between two plans - Aetna Better Health or IlliniCare Health Plan. However, residents will be automatically assigned a health plan if they do not choose one within 60 days after receiving the enrollment packet.
