Re: All Kids Changes Effective July 1, 2011

 

As a result of Public Act 96-1501 (pdf), effective July 1, 2011, the income limit on the All Kids program is 300% of the Federal Poverty Level. Information regarding the income limits may be found on the All Kids Web site. All Kids will no longer approve new Premium Level 3 – 8 cases after June 30, 2011. Children already active on Premium Level 3 - 8 cases on July 1, 2011, may remain covered until July 1, 2012, as long as they continue to meet all other eligibility requirements.

Providers are encouraged to use one of the resources available to verify a participant's eligibility prior to rendering services. Providers may verify eligibility through one of the following resources:

Medical Electronic Data Interchange (MEDI) Internet Site

Automated Voice Response System (AVRS) - 1-800-842-1461

Recipient Eligibility Verification (REV) System
