Problem with IEC Download Process

The IEC download process, which releases outbound transactions, has been experiencing a backlog since March 3, 2009.

 

The department expects the problem to be resolved by March 9, 2009. Your patience in this matter is appreciated.

 

The transactions that are effected by this problem are as follows:

 

271 Transactions - Outbound 271 Eligibility Response

 

997 & 824 Transactions - Acknowledgements of the 837P and 837I electronic claim

 

277 Transactions - Outbound 277 Claim Status Response

 

835 Transactions - Electronic Remittance Advice that is downloaded from our MEDI IEC site.
