Additional Safety Training Programs Available

The department has approved two additional safety training programs; Rural Transit Assistance Center (RTAC) and the Mid America Consulting Group. Both programs offer a Train-the-Trainer format, which allows a provider to have designated staff trained to give the safety training to staff at their location. The certified safety training programs will issue all certifications. Providers should contact RTAC and Mid America Consulting Group as listed below, to obtain information on training schedules, locations and costs:
