Illinois Health Connect Referral System Update

In follow-up to previous provider notices regarding Illinois Health Connect, including provider notice, HFS would like to provide an update on the status of the Illinois Health Connect referral system.

At this time, the department has not implemented the Illinois Health Connect referral system.  The Illinois Health Connect referral system is still under review by the Department. 

Until the referral system is fully implemented, claims will continue to be processed without a referral. Providers will be notified at least three (3) months prior to the full implementation of the Illinois Health Connect referral system by the Department and Automated Health Systems, the Illinois Health Connect Program Administrator.
