Expansion of Mandatory Enrollment in Illinois Health Connect - Northwest Counties

The purpose of this notice is to inform providers that mandatory enrollment in Illinois Health Connect began in the Northwest Counties on May 29, 2007.  The Northwest Counties include: Boone, Bureau, Carroll, DeKalb, Fulton, Henderson, Henry, JoDaviess, Knox, LaSalle, Lee, Marshall, Mercer, Ogle, Peoria, Putnam, Rock Island, Stark, Stephenson, Tazewell, Warren, Whiteside, Winnebago and Woodford.

 

On May 22, 2007, Automated Health Systems (AHS) began mailing greeting cards to eligible HFS and All Kids participants in the Northwestern Counties announcing the mandatory Illinois Health Connect Program and asking them to watch their mail for more information.  Beginning May 29, 2007, participant enrollment and education packets will be mailed requesting that participants pick a primary care provider (PCP) for their medical home.

Mandatory enrollment in Illinois Health Connect continues in Cook County and the Collar Counties of DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, McHenry and Will.  The Central and Southern regions of the state will continue under voluntary enrollment until further notice.
