Well Child Visit Incentive Payment​

We are pleased to announce that beginning in 2007, the department will begin paying an annual incentive payment of $30 per patient to enrolled Maternal and Child Health (MCH) physicians/APNs and FQHCs who render all recommended well child visits during each year of a patient's life from ages 0-5.

 

The first incentive payments will be made in the second quarter of 2007, based on Medicaid billing data received by the department through December 31, 2006. Once initiated, the incentive payments will be made at least on an annual basis.

Although all of the administrative details have not been finalized, we did want to make providers aware of the new incentive payment now. As additional information on the incentive payments becomes available, providers will be notified. Your participation in our programs is greatly appreciated.
